Our Team - Principals

Philip J. Wilson, Principal --

Phil coordinates and oversees RealtyLink's various development companies. In 1989, Phil's first development was a 40-acre single family residential subdivision called Ricelan Springs in Greenville, SC. Next, he and his brother Neil redeveloped several downtown office buildings, the most notable being Ivey Square, a former department store, which is now a mix of office and retail. In 1998, Phil and Neil founded RealtyLink, LLC to exclusively develop and represent restaurant and retail clients. Since then, Phil has developed projects for the following tenants: Publix, Hobby Lobby, TJ Maxx, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Ross, Ulta, Petsmart, Aldi Foods, CVS, Carrabbas, Bridgestone/Firestone, Verizon Wireless, Bojangles', Starbucks, Arby's, Burger King, Chipotle, Wendy's, DQ Grill and Chill, Chili's, Mattress Firm, Buffalo Wild Wings, Fatz Cafe, Sprint, Virginia College, NAPA Auto Parts, Denny's and others. Phil attended Spartanburg Methodist College and studied Business Management. He has been a resident of Greenville for over 30 years.

John C. (Jack) Jamison, Principal and Broker in Charge --

Jack became a partner in RealtyLink, LLC in March of 2001. He has been managing projects at RealtyLink for Arby's, Bojangles', Dairy Queen, Golden Corral, Wendy's, Quizno's, Starbucks, Little Caesars, Radio Shack, Bridgestone/Firestone, NBSC, Sun Com, Fatz Cafe, Pizza Hut/Wing Street, and Tuffy/CarX Auto Service. From 1980 to 1983 Jack worked in restaurant operations for Ryans Family Steak Houses, Inc. For the next ten years, he served as Director and Vice President of Development where he had full responsibility and authority for all site selection, engineering and architectural and construction requirements. From 1993 to 2001, Jack was Vice President of Real Estate and a member of the senior executive committee that made all strategic decisions for the company. Jack has used his skills from his 21 years of experience at Ryans (unit #4 to unit #315) to help clients make correct location decisions at appropriate investment levels in order to help them obtain the maximum return on investment for their concepts. Jack graduated cum laude from The Citadel in 1980 with a B.S. in Business Administration. He is a lifetime resident of Greenville and Easley and is married with two children. Neil Wilson, Principal --

Neil spearheads various development companies and manages all related aspects of the project. Neil's real estate development career began in 1992 when he and his brother Phil purchased the 65,000 square foot Ivey's Department store. The revitalization of Ivey Square, a mix of office and retail helped turn around a depressed downtown environment in Greenville, SC. In 1998, Neil and Phil founded RealtyLink, LLC to exclusively develop and represent restaurant and retail clients. Neil has completed projects for the following tenants: Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Staples, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, Marshalls, Hooby Lobby, Michaels, Academy Sports, Ulta Beauty, Bojangles', AT&T, Home Goods, Petco, PetSmart, Aspen Dental, Mattress Firm, DSW Shoes, Golden Corral, Mc Donald's, Burger King, Hardee's, KFC, Cato's, Shoe Show, Great Clips, Sally Beauty, Fazoli's, Arby's, Starbucks, DQ Grill and Chill, Waffle House, Pollo Campero, and Atlanta Bread Company. In addition to these projects, Neil has developed preferred development programs with Kohl’s for surplus real estate, Staples as a relocation developer, and a Build-toSuit program with Hardees (Corporate) in multiple states. Neil studied Business Management and Accounting at Furman University and has been residing in Greenville for over 30 years.

John Whitson, Principal --

John has been Principal of RealtyLink's Alabama office since the summer of 2007. For ten years, John worked with AIG Baker Shopping Center Properties, L.L.C. where he was responsible for the development of over two million square feet of shopping centers in a region that spread from South Carolina to Nevada. Additionally, he served as the Director of Outparcel Development from 2003 to 2006. In this position, he was responsible for the development or sale of over $50 million of excess property. John is a graduate of Emory University with a B.A. in Economics and in Psychology. He also holds a MBA with a focus in finance and real estate from The University of Georgia. John has been a resident of Birmingham for 10 years and is married with two children.

Richard Weiser, Principal --

Richard has been involved in land development since 1968 with direct experience in leasing, sales, consulting, property management, and construction-related services. After experience with Meyer Weiner and Trizec, he was a principal at Coldwell Banker, Tectonics, Tri-Equity Group, and The Weiser Companies. He oversees all development functions in RealtyLink's Charleston office. VA License 0225 110059

Lenn Jewel, Principal --

A 25-plus-year veteran of the retail development industry, Lenn has been directly involved in the development, leasing, and management of millions of square feet of retail and commercial space. He holds a B.S. in Finanance from Brigham Young University and a MBA from the University of Utah. Lenn is an active, long-term member of ICSC and maintains strong contacts with real estate representatives from regional and national retailers. Born and raised in Washington DC, Lenn now lives is North Charleston and serves as a Principal for RealtyLink's Charleston office. VA License 0225 018916

Rick Pennoyer, Principal --

Rick is a third generation contractor whose knowledge and expertise allows him to manage all aspects of the construction business. His responsibilities include estimating, purchase of materials, subcontractor services, coordination of trade, contract administration, field operations and customer relations. Over the course of his professional career, Rick has managed projects of more than $200 million across the county. These projects range from urban developments of more than one million square feet to small rural projects. Rick is President of Maverick Companies, Inc. based in Charleston, SC and serves as a Principal for RealtyLink's Charleston office. He resides in Maryland with his wife and three children.

Andrew J. Dettro, Principal --

Over the past 15 years, Andy has worked in the Real Estate departments for two Fortune 150 companies: Publix Supermarkets and Kohl's Department Stores. Most recently holding the position of Vice President of Real Estate at Kohl's, Andy and his team were tasked with creating, implementing, and managing the strategy for the entire Kohl’s Real Estate portfolio (something Kohl’s did not have in the past). By doing so, his department was able to generate savings through various self-created initiatives such as the Surplus Property Program, Early Lease Renewal Program, Remodel negotiations, and the Rightsizing/Relocation program. In addition to those responsibilities, Andy also managed and aided in the implementation of new store development in the Southeast. He has worked closely with the following tenants on the Surplus Property Program: Chick-Fil-A, McDonald’s, Panda Express, Ulta, Staples, Chipotle, Darden (Olive Garden and Longhorn), Shoe Carnival, Petco, Petsmart, Michaels, and many others. Partners and relationships that have become stronger through these various programs are Target, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, Costco, and countless others. Andy attended The University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL and received an undergraduate degree in Finance along with a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Change Management. He currently lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and serves as a Principal for RealtyLink's Milwaukee office. To date, his greatest achievements are his two amazing daughters: Madison and McKenzie.
